Sticky Chapters founder Jessy and project manager Iris

Founded by Jessy van der Vlist in 2017, Sticky Chapters is a creative company that can transform business ambitions into strategy and video.

To ensure the best possible results, they've designed their very own video concept called Made To Stick. Using this concept, they're able to help companies boost their business through powerful videos. "We do this by diving into your organization to develop a strategy that we transform into multiple videos" explains Jessy.

We got to chat with Jessy for a brief Q&A on his experience with Rodeo and here is what he had to say:

Q: What were you trying to solve at Stick Chapters that led you to look into Rodeo?

A: Sticky Chapters is growing as a company and our team quickly started to grow. It is easy to lose track once teams start to expand, so I wanted to use data in a smarter way, for ourselves as well as for (future) customers.

Looking at our process it felt like some could be optimized, although this was more of an intuitive feeling since I couldn’t measure and correlate anything to specific data.

Q: How do you use Rodeo in your workflow today? What features do you use the most?

A: Rodeo is the first app I open in the morning and one of the last I close at the end of the day. In particular, the insights from the Reports have helped me move faster with setting up new projects and the process of hiring team members.

My team and I finally have a clear overview of what projects are active, the number of hours that can be billed to them, and the definitive margins we're making in the end.

Q: What benefits have you achieved with Rodeo?

A: The optimization of pricing projects. Instead of relying on just 'guestimating' things, I can now measure and understand actual data and get real-time insights on financials, and project progress.

The team also has a better structured process and clear direction. Because everything is centralized in one place [Rodeo], the team can focus on the projects they are actively working on without distraction.
